Spectrum, produced by Carlos Hagen, is aprogram discussing how the human voice can portray intense emotions of pain, sadness, defiance, loneliness, suffering, and courage through song. Hagen illustrates these emotional and intimate performances through excerpts of music from many periods and countries, circa 1970-1975.
