Suicide prevention special presents an interview with Gerald Spalding, director of a suicide prevention center and crisis clinic in Dallas. Spalding explains the importance of and need for suicide prevention. The recording also contains audio of a group of volunteers in a session of role play as preparation for taking calls for a suicide prevention hotline, June 1970.
