Summary
Project Reach Out was an annual telethon that promoted volunteering. Business, academic and government communities were asked to donate time (rather than money) to help public schools throughout Maryland. Rhea Feikin hosts. Special guest: singer Melba Moore. Features local performers like The Victorians, a gospel choir. In addition, the program offers profiles of Maryland schools and educators. First hour simulcast on WJZ-TV.
