Summary
Aircheck tape from "Underground CPM," a radio show on the University of Maryland's WMUC campus radio station. The show was recorded in 1969 and was hosted by Skip Groff, using the pseudonym Sam Doug. Also included is a 1969 aircheck recording of Groff on WINX, a radio station from Rockville, Maryland. Groff used his "Frank Douglas" pseudonym for this shift on WINX. On both radio stations, Groff played current rock and pop music.

Groff went on to become a notable record producer (Minor Threat, Pentagram, Teen Idles) and owned Yesterday & Today Records, a store that served as a hub for the alternative music community in the Washington, D.C. area from 1977-2002. The 1/4" tape reel that held this recording was labeled "WMUC, Hall of Fame."
