PowerPoint was the first and only live program to focus attention on issues and information of concern to African American listeners using the popular interactive, call-in format. The show, based in Atlanta, aired weekly on Sunday evenings, from 9-11 p.m. It was on the air for seven years in 50 markets on NPR and on Sirius satellite radio (now SiriusXM). Reggie F. Hicks served as Executive Producer.

In the first hour, Carmen Burns hosts "an evening with" Dr. Bertice Berry, sociologist, lecturer, educator, and author of the novel "Redemption Song". News report by Bruce Dorton.

In the second hour, Carmen Burns interviews James Holmes, Atlanta regional director and special advisor to the director of the U.S. Census Bureau, South Carolina congressman James E. Clyburn, chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Samuel J. Chisholm, head of the Black-owned Chisholm-Mingo Group, creator of an ad campaign for the U.S. Census Bureau.
